New
and improved Sounds made from the same great silicone I use for all my toys.
Silicone is suited very well for this type of toy because it can be sterilized
safely without compromising its integrity. The sounds are also a great testament to the integrity of silicone as a material for my toys.... you won't find these being made in any other material.
Silicone can be auto-claved or
processed in a pressure cooker safely without melting the product. Originally inspired by a good friend
of mine, Dan, who one day showed me his collection of jelly type fishing
lures he was using for urethral play. Not knowing what they were made of
and realizing they were most likely not sterile set myself on a quest to
develop some type of safe rubber toy. This was almost 4 years ago now. This revised design has gentle entry round tips, are generously long and incorporate 2 size diameters into one. Note in the center image that the diameter increases by approximately 1/16". Thanks to you all, these latest
models will hopefully be everything you could wish for.
Improvements
include : tapered tips, increased length, and finer calibration. The original
set had only 4 different sizes, this set includes 16. Insertable length
is now a full 15". Each rod is made up of 2 different sizes, the smaller
of which is from the tip to mid-point, then a slight taper up to the next
increment which is held all the way to the base. Each rod is marked with
its sizes on the square base. Because the prototypes were machined in inches
and the French system of measuring Sounds is based on metric, there wasn't
a clean conversion. Each size in the rod differs by about 2.5 french and
hence, the reason for the odd pairing of numbers in the final product. The
final sizes are very close to actual but, regardless, because of the flexible
nature of rubber, these numbers are best viewed as guidelines and close
estimates.
